The Leora Sweater Dress is part of Fragments, a sustainable collection by Nika Ravnik that explores the transformation of textile remnants into innovative material structures. The collection manipulates fabrics through a zero-waste approach, combining architectural thinking, artistic experimentation, and conscious design to create garments with layered narratives and sculptural form.

This unique piece embodies a fusion of sustainability and innovation. The garment is constructed from two layers of sheer fabric, with small fragments of leftover textiles enclosed between the layers. These fragments become visible through the transparent surface, forming an organic and ever-changing pattern that gives the dress its distinctive texture and depth.

The result is a light yet structured silhouette that resembles a soft sculptural volume. The fragments create subtle padding and rhythm across the garment, transforming discarded materials into a contemporary textile surface.

The silhouette is relaxed and slightly oversized, allowing the dress to function both as a sweater dress and a lightweight outer garment. Long sleeves and a softly rounded neckline enhance the architectural simplicity of the piece, while the semi-transparent layered structure adds visual complexity.

Each dress is one of a kind, as the placement of the textile fragments differs in every garment.
