JA MAA VOS is a womenswear collection inspired by the Dutch artist Jan Maarten Voskuil. His inventive spatial paintings are based on geometrical principles. By creating a three dimensional stretcher frame he evokes an ambiguous sphered surface. The asymmetric works suggest an endless area of “free form”, leading towards an even more elaborate oeuvre.

Some of those works has become Nika Ravnik’s garment pattern cuts which on the body breathe their own air.
