UNITED FASHION

The UNITED FASHION EU project is a three-year exchange programme between seven EU states and their fashion competencies. Eight organisations (MAD Brussels (BE), Flanders FC (BE), ModaLisboa (PT), Baltic Fashion Federation (LV), Maisons de Mode (FR), Fashion Weekend Skopje (MK), Fashion Council Germany (DE) and Not Just a Label (UK)), supported by the EU Creative Europe Programme, support European fashion designers in their business affinity to strengthen their international competitiveness without excluding creativity.

The Fashion Council Germany was the first host country which invited nine selected labels from Belgium, France, Portugal, Latvia, Slovenia and Germany to Berlin Fashion Week in July 2018 to familiarise them with the German market. Nika Ravnik and Sofija Urumovic were selected from the Balkan region. On the one hand, the designers presented their collections at the Premium trade fair and took part in individual workshops and conferences. This project was realized with the kind support of  Premium Exhibitions and Waldorf Astoria.
