LIA FRINGE SWEATER / PONCHO

The Fringe Sweater / Poncho Lia is a one-of-a-kind piece, designed as an expressive exploration of texture, structure, and deconstruction.
Crafted using a zero-waste cutting technique, the garment transforms the fabric into a sculptural composition of openings, layers, and movement. The design embraces rawness while maintaining a refined and intentional form.

Made from archival Escada wool, the material offers warmth, softness, and a rich tactile quality. The black-and-white melange surface enhances depth and contrast, while black trims define the edges and structure.

The silhouette is asymmetrical and fluid, positioned between a sweater and a poncho. It features wide, elongated sleeves, multiple cut-out openings on the front and back, and fringed hemlines that create dynamic movement with the body.

The piece can be styled in multiple ways, layered over dresses, skirts, or trousers, shifting from a bold statement garment to a more understated, everyday look.
Each piece is locally handmade and, due to the use of archival material and the making process, exists as a truly unique garment.
