NARI DRESS

The Nari Dress is part of the LALULI collection, an artistic exploration of the hidden landscapes of human emotion and memory. The collection translates intuitive gestures and subconscious imagery into expressive textile surfaces and sculptural garment forms.

The textile print originates from an original hand-drawn illustration by Nika Ravnik, created with wax crayons. The drawing was enlarged and transferred onto fabric using digital textile printing, transforming spontaneous strokes into a vivid painterly texture.

The dress is designed as a wrap shirt dress, combining the relaxed character of a shirt silhouette with the adjustable structure of a wrap garment. A long belt allows the piece to be tied around the waist, creating different silhouettes depending on styling.

The garment features an asymmetrical composition, where two contrasting parts of the print meet: a vibrant textured coral-orange surface on one side and a softer rose-toned graphic field on the other. Sculptural folds cascade along the front panel, adding movement and a subtle architectural quality to the garment.

Relaxed sleeves with gentle volume and the asymmetrical hemline with a side slit enhance fluidity and comfort while maintaining a sculptural presence. The silhouette balances structure and ease, making the piece both expressive and wearable.

The fabric is 100% Oeko-Tex certified cotton, digitally printed using biodegradable water-based dyes. The garment is developed using the zero-waste design method, reflecting the sustainable philosophy of the Nika Ravnik brand.

Each piece is handcrafted in Slovenia.
