The Hana Dress is part of The Geometry of Feeling collection, where visual art, geometry, and the body intertwine. Constructed from basic geometric shapes without conventional cutting, using an origami technique, the dress evolves into a distinctive three-dimensional silhouette based on the zero-waste principle.
Through folds, layering, and carefully considered pleats, the fabric transforms into a sculptural form that creates a dialogue between rigidity and softness. The asymmetrical length and open structure allow freedom of movement and adaptability to the body.
Each piece is one of a kind and handcrafted. The dress is made from deadstock fabric, carefully sourced from a textile antiquarian. The Hana Dress embodies the sustainable philosophy of the Nika Ravnik brand, combining timeless design, experimentation, and respect for material.
